Located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, The Post BK is a more than just a really cool place to play ball; its more than just a place that offers dynamic athletic experiences for all ages and one-of-a-kind events; its more than just a place that combines athletics, fitness, health, and and personal growth. afterall, its not really a place at all….its a community

our FOUnDING community partner: The brooklyn youth sports club

The inspiration behind The Post BK is the Brooklyn Youth Sports Club (BKYSC), an educational after-school and summer enrichment program for under-served kids in Brooklyn. As a Founding Community Partner, BKYSC will run their programs out of The Post BK. We are so proud to team up with BKYSC to provide a space that can support BK’s most promising young people. As we grow, we look forward to forging relationships with other Community Partners.

BKYSC’s mission is to use basketball as a hook for academic engagement by providing a minute-for-minutes ratio of academic support and basketball programs. Academic programs include literacy classes, HW help & tutoring, test prep, SAT Prep, college guidance, college application workshops, and more. The organization, which boasts a 100% College Enrollment rate over the past decade, provides We are so proud to team up with BKYSC to open a space that can support BK’s most promising young people.

About the Facility:

THE POST BK is a 17000 Square foot facility proudly offering:

  • Three full court basketball courts

  • Yoga and Fitness studios

  • Community Partner’s Classrooms, Computer Lab, and Offices
